When a photographer encounters the practice of Vodou cartography while on assignment he becomes enchanted with the visceral artwork and ceremony witnessed. But the experience embeds itself in his psyche and his interest in vodou becomes more than an inspiration, more than a passion, more than an addiction. Through his own artwork, he creates his own destiny, a path to demonization. A complete transformation occurs physically, mentally and artistically and results in the conjuring of entities never imagined, exploring the world between the darkness and blackness.

On a remote island off the west coast of Scotland in 1846 a heavy storm hits, causing a ship to sink. Three survivors row through a thick early morning mist, lost and disorientated. The mist begins to clear and The Isle appears before them. They soon discover that it is almost abandoned except for four sole residents: an old harbour man, a farmer, his niece and a young mad woman. Once rested and recovered the sailors are desperate to leave and return to the mainland, but the promised boat never appears. One of them starts to investigate and learns of a tragedy at sea that occurred five years previously causing several young men from the island to perish. When his two shipmates meet with accidents, the myth of a ghostly siren haunting the island leads him to uncover the truth whilst he battles to save his own life.

《寺岛(dǎo )》：刚刚拿到第一个连载(zǎi )的漫画(huà )家山(shān )崎（峯田和伸(🗯) 饰(shì )）(🍮)，因为助(⛪)(zhù )手突(📈)然走掉而疲于奔(bēn )命。某个下(xià )雨的日子，自称寺岛(dǎo )的女(nǚ )子（吉(jí )冈里(🥅)帆 饰）(✏)前来担(👐)任(rèn )助(🚏)手(shǒu )职务。作为创作素材，寺岛(dǎo )向漫(màn )画家(jiā )讲述了一个可怕的故事(shì )。

明(🐠)(míng )朝嘉(🌘)(jiā )靖年(🔶)间，倭患(🛥)不止。朝(😡)廷惊(jīng )闻有(yǒu )民间组织和朝廷官员(yuán )里通倭(wō )寇，渔利国家，于是责令(lìng )六(🎸)扇门(mé(😋)n )负责(zé(🆔) )侦查并(🌟)找出官员(yuán )通倭(wō )证据。六扇门小捕快陆小虾(xiā )临危(wēi )受命，同时被六扇门(🚣)总捕头(🗻)(tóu )于初(〽)(chū )心派(🧛)人(rén )追杀，危难之际被“山河(hé )兵团”的七爷所救并带回兵(bīng )团之(zhī )中。
